JOHN HYAM
John has worked in the racing industry for many years as foreman for Byron Cozamanis at his Morphettville stable. In 2006, John gained his trainers licence an commenced training at Finniss Lodge. After gaining many years of experience with Byron, John has proved himself to be competitive in the South Australian ranks in his first 5 years as a trainer. John has had success with handy horses, About Me, Believe in More and stable champ Petman. John’s horses are also highly competitive when they are bought over the border to race in Melbourne already tasting success. John has a great partnership with former star apprentice Troy Baker, the stable rider. We welcome John to our team of trainers!
